Easy setup, works great

I ordered a 350W Conversion Kit a while back. It arrived in about a week. The instructions were pretty clear, and I managed to get it on my bike without too much fuss. It makes my commute so much easier now. The battery lasts a good while too, which is nice. Just a simple, good experience.

Good value for 48V kit

I was looking to convert my mountain bike and found their 48V Rear Hub Motor Conversion Kit. Got it during a seasonal sale and with a first-order discount, which saved a good chunk. The price felt really fair for what I received. Made my old bike usable again without breaking the bank.

Decent kit, some minor snags

I picked up a Front Hub Motor Conversion Kit with a Hailong Battery. Ordering was straightforward, and it shipped out fairly quickly, took about 6 days to reach me in California. The quality of the motor and battery seems solid. Installation was mostly smooth, the included tools were handy, but the wiring diagram for my specific display was a little vague; had to double-check a few things online. I did call their support once about a connection, and they were helpful, cleared it right up. The battery charges fine and holds a charge as expected. Overall, it's a good kit for the price, just be prepared to spend a little extra time on the wiring if you're not super experienced.

Is there a student discount available? Or military discount maybe?

C Chris 1 month ago
I think they do have a student discount, I remember seeing that mentioned somewhere. Worth checking their FAQ or reaching out to support.

S Shane C. 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually offer both. I got a military discount on my last purchase, just had to verify my status on a separate site.

Anyone know if their batteries work with other brands like a Bafang motor? Or are they pretty much only for Yose Power kits?

M Mia F. 2 months ago
I've seen people use them with Bafang motors. As long as the voltage matches (36V or 48V) and you can get the right connector, it should be fine. You might need to tinker a bit.

Nah, they're generally designed for their own kits. You'd have to check the specs really carefully for compatibility with other motors, especially the connectors and controller signals.

Can I stack discount codes? Like if I have a newsletter signup code and find another one, can I use both?

C Cleo C. 2 months ago
Pretty sure it's one code per order. That's usually how it works on most sites.
6
W Wendy Hughes 2 months ago
Nope, only one discount code at a time. I tried combining a first-order discount with a sale code and it wouldn't let me.

Are their batteries actually safe? Like, what about certifications and stuff?

L Laura 2 months ago
Yeah, they mention certifications on their site. I've been running one for over a year with no issues, feels pretty safe to me.

N Nina Beaumont 2 months ago
They claim to be safe and certified. Haven't heard any horror stories, which is a good sign for e-bike batteries.

Hey guys, thinking of getting one of their hub motor kits. How long does shipping usually take to say, California?

D Dana 2 months ago
Mine got to Texas in about 7-8 days, so Cali should be similar. They're pretty quick.

Yeah, I ordered a battery last month to Oregon and it was at my door in just over a week. Not bad for something coming from overseas, I think they ship from a few spots.

Looking at their 500W kit. How does it compare to something from Luna Cycle or Rad Power Bikes in terms of quality or power?

D Derek 2 months ago
Luna Cycle usually has more premium stuff, but Yose Power is solid for the price. Rad Power bikes are complete bikes, not kits, so it's a bit different. For DIY, Yose Power is a good entry point.

M Marcus Patel 2 months ago
Yose Power kits are decent for the money, especially if you're comfortable with DIY. Luna Cycle might have more high-end options, but you'll pay for it. For a 500W setup, Yose Power holds its own.

Wondering about returns. If a conversion kit doesn't fit my bike, can I send it back easily or is it a hassle?

S Sam Beaumont 2 months ago
I returned a wrong size display once, it was pretty straightforward. Just gotta make sure it's in new condition.

They say on their site you can return if it doesn't fit. Just make sure you read the policy, there might be a timeframe or something you need to hit.

Any deals right now? Or should I wait for a specific time like Black Friday?

L Laura 1 month ago
They usually have some kind of sale going on, check their homepage. Black Friday or Cyber Monday are usually the biggest discounts though, if you can wait.

C Cleo Okafor 1 month ago
Sign up for their newsletter, you usually get a discount code right away. Otherwise, seasonal sales or around holidays are your best bet for bigger savings.
